The NFL Draft isn’t all about the top guys, and the New York Jets have to take chances and identify some sleepers in this draft to become a successful team in 2018.

It’s very easy to identify the guys like Peyton Manning or John Elway in the draft. On the other hand, it can be guys like Tom Brady (the ultimate sleeper) that change the fortunes of franchises. Sleepers are the key to any draft success. There are limited draft picks.

So, the New York Jets have to hit home runs on some, and then be like Vladamir Guerrerro, and hit the ones many would even attempt to swing at over the fence.

Here are some of the top sleepers in the 2018 NFL Draft.

5. Foley Fatukasi, DT, Connecticut

The University of Connecticut isn’t really known for producing draft picks. They only have 39 AFL/NFL Draft picks all-time. If he hears his name called early on Day 2, Fatusaki could become the 12th player in school history to be selected in the first three rounds.

He’s a raw player, but if he unlocks the full potential seen in the flashes, he could become a good defensive tackle. For the Jets he would play defensive end, taking Muhammad Wilkerson’s spot. He has the versatility to play all along the defensive front for the Jets. He has the ability to be a disruptive force along the Jets front — with the right coaching.
