With the offseason moving along, we look at a potential outcome of the 2018 NFL Draft for the Oakland Raiders with this 7-round mock draft.

One of the biggest stories heading into the offseason was the question surrounding the return of head coach Jon Gruden. After spending a decade away from the game, the former Super Bowl winning head coach was ready to get back into the game and wound up with the Oakland Raiders.

This came after years of calling games for ESPN Monday Night Football, and reports were that the two teams he previously coached were interested in reunion. It wasn’t the Tampa Bay Buccaneers though, the team he hoisted the Lombardi Trophy with, as Oakland secured his services.

A 10-year, $100 million contract was what it took to lure him back to the team that gave him his first NFL head coaching gig, and big things are expected out of him.

Part of that includes the presence of star quarterback Derek Carr. The former second-round pick out of Fresno State also signed a huge deal with the team, but had a down season in 2017. There’s a belief that Gruden will be able to get the most out of Carr, but the roster still needs some work for that to happen.

Here we try and predict what they can do in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft to improve their team as we have a Raiders seven-round mock draft.
