The New England Patriots are an incredibly difficult team to predict when it comes to the NFL Draft. But let’s do our best. with this seven-round 2018 mock draft.

The New England Patriots have had an unprecedented amount of success throughout the Bill Belichick and Tom Brady era. It’s more than just the five Super Bowl championships. Since Brady took over as the Pats’ starting quarterback in 2001, they have won the AFC East in 15 of 17 seasons. They also reached the Super Bowl a ridiculous eight times, including three times in the last four years.

Their success has been incredible, but if we are being honest, it is probably ending soon. Brady will be 41 years old next season. He has been absolutely incredible in recent years, but there is not a quarterback who has continued to perform this well at Brady’s age. It may not be for a few years, but Brady cannot keep this up forever. It could legitimately end at any time.

With that being the case, the Patriots need to make the most out of their current opportunities to win championships, before it is too late. That means loading their roster with as many players who can immediately help them compete as possible.

As of now, they are obviously still Super Bowl contenders. However, that could change at any moment. How can the New England Patriots capitalize on their current opportunity to compete? Let’s take a look at a potential offseason scenario with this complete seven-round 2018 NFL mock draft.
