The Chicago Bears must nail the 2018 NFL Draft in order to surround Mitch Trubisky with the proper talent. Who do they land in this seven-round mock draft?

The Chicago Bears have some nice young pieces to build around on their roster. Defensively, guys like Leonard Floyd, Akiem Hicks, Eddie Jackson and Adrian Amos lead the way, while Mitch Trubisky, Jordan Howard and company take care of the offensive side of the ball.

General manager Ryan Pace has done a nice job of adding legitimate impact talent through the draft in recent years. However, there are still obvious positions of need on both sides of the ball. Wide receiver stands out as a painfully obvious need, followed closely by cornerback, inside linebacker, edge rusher and offensive line. If the Bears are going to find success under new head coach Matt Nagy and with their franchise players, they need to start filling those needs.

Things will certainly change between now and free agency. They could quickly turn a position of weakness into a strength with a smart free agent addition or two. Regardless of who they add in free agency, the Chicago Bears are going to need an influx of talent on both sides of the ball in the 2018 NFL Draft. Let’s take a look at an interesting scenario with this complete seven-round mock draft.
