New York Jets: 3 Wide receivers to avoid in 2018 NFL Free Agency
1. Terrelle Pryor
What happened to this guy? After a career year with the Browns in 2016, the 6-4, 228-pounder signed as a free agent with the Redskins and was a complete flop in the nation’s capital. He was probably the biggest bust of 2017.
Nothing went right for the Ohio State product last year. He never developed any chemistry with quarterback Kirk Cousins, who I said the Jets need to sign. General manager Mike Maccagnan needs to be very aggressive in trying to obtain Cousins so the thought of bringing Pryor aboard should never enter his mind.
After a breakthrough campaign in 2016 in which the six-year veteran compiled 77 receptions for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns for Cleveland, Pryor’s numbers collapsed like a cheap tent for Washington last year. He was hampered by injuries throughout the season and ended up with just 20 catches for 240 yards and only one touchdown. Pryor missed the final six games of the year with an ankle injury that eventually required surgery. It was a totally disastrous campaign for the talented wideout.

Needless to say, the Jets should stay far away. Very far away. Pryor is going to be 29 years old in June and New York has to look at other potential options that are younger like Watkins and Robinson. Possibly even Paul Richardson (25 years old). Youth must be served. There are simply too many red flags with Pryor.
