The offseason is where teams look to make big moves, and we look at a logical move for each team to make in 2018 NFL free agency.

The 2018 NFL free agency period will begin soon. On March 12, teams will officially be able to talk to the players in free agency. We will hear a lot of news about who is landing where during that time. On March 14, teams will be able to make their free agent deals official. Simply put, NFL free agency is almost here, so get ready for some serious action.

Building a roster through free agency in the NFL is typically not the best plan of attack. It is usually better to build a team through the draft, having a roster centered around young impact players who come at a low cost. Teams who do this well are able to dip into free agency to find impact role players to add to the mix.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a perfect recent example of doing this well. The Jags have landed many impact players through the draft in recent years, and last offseason, they spent big in free agency to put their team over the top. Recent free agent additions Malik Jackson, A.J. Bouye and Calias Campbell were huge for the Jags on the defensive side of the ball, as they made a surprising run to the AFC Championship Game.

Free agency is great if used right, but inflated contracts will cause plenty of teams to make mistakes. In this post, we are going to look at potential smart free agent decisions for each NFL team in free agency. Some of these will be big, high-money additions, while others will be smarter moves made to fill a need with an underrated player on the open market.

Without further ado, here is a single move that each of the 32 teams should make in the upcoming NFL free agency period.
