Jacksonville Jaguars: Re-Sign WR Allen Robinson

The Jacksonville Jaguars already made a big move this offseason, locking up quarterback Blake Bortles to a three-year, $54 million extension. Instead of looking to upgrade their quarterback situation, the Jags decided to give Bortles another chance to lead their team. They have a roster loaded with talent, but Bortles needs to step up if they want to take the next step.

In order for Bortles to succeed, the Jaguars need to give him as much help as possible. Their primary move in NFL free agency should be retaining wide receiver Allen Robinson.

Robinson is one of the most gifted receivers in the entire NFL, showing fantastic combination of size, speed and athleticism. He is a legitimate deep ball weapon who attacks the ball in the air extremely well. Robinson is the kind of receiver who make an average quarterback look great.

Robinson missed the entire 2017 season with a torn ACL. The Jags were able to have an incredible season without him, but they undoubtedly missed him when Bortles needed a big-time weapon on the outside. Getting Robinson back in the fold would take the Jaguars offense to the next level. They need more explosive talent on the offensive side of the ball and retaining Robinson makes the most sense.
