NFL Free Agency 2018: One move each team should make
Philadelphia Eagles: Re-Sign LB Nigel Bradham
Coming off of an incredible Super Bowl run, the Philadelphia Eagles do not have many needs to fill this offseason. They have one of the most talented rosters in the entire NFL and will get star quarterback Carson Wentz back from injury next season. Life is good in Philly.
Howie Roseman will undoubtedly be active in improving their roster this offseason, but there are few obvious needs across this roster. However, when it comes to the upcoming NFL free agency period, the Eagles have one move that simply must be made. They have to take care of their own by re-signing linebacker Nigel Bradham.
Bradham was an extremely important part of a dominant Eagles defense last season. He has led the team in tackles in each of the last two seasons, showcasing an impressive combination of power, quickness and natural instincts against the run. Bradham also took over more of a leadership role with the Eagles defense last season, wearing the radio helmet after Jordan Hicks went down with injury.
Bradham is one of the most important players in the entire Eagles’ roster. They would obviously still be good without him, but his value to the team would be incredibly difficult to replace. Locking Bradham up is a no-brainer move for the Eagles this offseason.
