The Senior Bowl Was His Playground

At the Senior Bowl Griffin did what he had done since he was four years old: silence critics. According to AL.com, silencing the critice is something he enjoys:

"“Being able to prove people wrong, it makes me feel so much better… Imagine doing a task for yourself, and as soon as you overcome it, just that relief.”"

Coaches and analyst raved about his play speed and the ability to move around offensive line to get to the quarterback. Though somewhat limited, he showed that he’s more than capable of tackling. What he showed was range and quickness and the knack to get around offensive tackles. Bill O’Brien was on the staff of Griffin:

"“I’ve been impressed with him in the meeting room and on the practice field. He plays hard. He’s got a way of playing — his playing style relative to what his limitations are physically.”"

His play was so great that he was afforded the honor of Senior Bowl Practice Player of the Week.  Yet again, he still found himself as just another guy with many draft experts failing to relinquish their stance on where he ranks as a prospect.

With many people focusing more on his story he continued to ball under the radar. But, his hard work and a dominant week earned him an invite to the 2018 NFL Combine. It would be at the Combine where he would really make his money.
