The Oakland Raiders do not currently hold a fifth-round selection, but they are loaded with sixth-round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft. With their own sixth-round selection in this mock draft, they look to fill their need at right tackle by taking a shot on Washington State’s Cole Madison.

Madison is a good athlete who moves extremely well for an offensive lineman. He sets up in pass protection quickly and shows a strong ability to get out in space and excel in the run game and in screen situations.

While his ability to move is impressive, Madison does lack some functional strength that could be an issue at the next level. He will likely struggle against power on the outside and he must improve that if he expects to ever become a full-time starter.

With their second sixth-round selection of this mock draft, the Oakland Raiders find some help at the running back position. Roc Thomas is a former highly ranked prospect who began his college career at Auburn. Thomas eventually found his way to Jacksonville State where he shined against the lower-level of competition.

Thomas is a quick and elusive back who shows the ability to make plays in space with the ball in his hands. While he is a bit on the smaller side, do not sleep on Thomas’ power at the point of attack. He is a difficult player to tackle, as he can make you miss with quickness but also lower his shoulder and pick up extra yardage with power.

Thomas is a talented prospect who could come in and contribute for the Raiders at a position of need. Snagging him with the 192nd overall pick in this mock draft is a great upside grab.
