The first wave of 2018 NFL free agency is over, but there are still a few big names out there the Green Bay Packers could spend their remaining cap space on.

It’s been a slow start to 2018 NFL free agency for the Green Bay Packers. Apart from handing sizable contracts to Jimmy Graham and Muhammad Wilkerson, we simply haven’t heard much from the league’s only publicly owned franchise.

It doesn’t help that the Packers don’t have a ton of cap space to work with right now. According to Spotrac.com, they currently have about $17 million to work with. While that may seem like a decent amount, we also have to consider that they need room for incoming rookies as well as any potential extensions that could be signed in the near future.

Still, that doesn’t count out a potential big-name signing if the price is right.

So who could they theoretically target with this remaining cap space? There are a few big-name free agents still on the market. Although the Packers already made their one splash of the offseason with the Graham deal, another move or two wouldn’t be the worst idea. I mean, they do have to find a way to compete with the surging Minnesota Vikings in 2018.

With that in mind, let’s look at five more big names the Packers could target during 2018 NFL free agency. There’s only so much financial flexibility to work with, but they can’t assume their 12 draft picks are going to fill all of the remaining holes in this roster.
