How should the new-look Kansas City Chiefs continue to remake their roster in the 2018 NFL Draft?  Check out this seven-round 2018 mock draft to find out.

As soon as the Kansas City Chiefs traded up in a big way for quarterback Pat Mahomes in last year’s draft, we new that a new era of Chiefs’ football was right around the corner. Alex Smith was one of the best quarterbacks in the history of this franchise, but Mahomes’ raw ability and upside could take this team to the next level.

After trading Smith earlier this offseason, this is now Mahomes’ team and the Chiefs are building to put him in the best possible situation to succeed. That started with the free agent addition of wide receiver Sammy Watkins.

The Chiefs signing Watkins to a three-year, $48 million is looked at by many as an overpay. However, Watkins is a 24-year old wide receiver with ridiculous upside and big play ability. He is a perfect receiver for the strong-armed Mahomes, and pairing him with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce gives the Chiefs offense massive upside in 2018 and beyond.

Kansas City still has plenty of defensive issues, but if Mahomes hits, they are quickly going to become one of the most dangerous teams in the entire NFL. Find out how the Kansas City Chiefs can continue to build their powerhouse roster in this complete seven-round 2018 NFL mock draft.
