Just two picks after adding Ejiofor to the mix, the Kansas City Chiefs take another stab at a potential impact edge player. Kemoko Turay is not as polished as a guy like Ejiofor. Injuries held his development back in college and his overall technique on the edge needs a lot of work.

That being said, Turay is a much more explosive player who has exciting upside at the next level. Turay is a sudden athlete who can bend around the edge and create consistent pressure on the passer. He also shows elite-level quickness, crashing down and shooting through the gaps to make plays against the run.

Similar to guys like Kpassagnon and Nicolas, Turay is a project at the edge rusher position. However, his immense upside makes him worth taking a chance on in the fourth round.

OL. Stony Brook. Timon Parris. 6. player. 124.

The Chiefs may have solved their offensive line issues with the selection of Cappa earlier in this mock draft. That being said, I couldn’t pass up the value of Stony Brook offensive lineman Timon Parris in the sixth round.

Parris is an interesting offensive line prospect who shows nice power at the point of attack and impressive movement skills. Parris was a tackle in college, and his great length and athleticism could allow him to have some success at the position at the next level. However, Parris’ quickness and nastiness as a run blocker could allow for a successful move to guard as well.

Simply put, Parris is a raw, but extremely talented offensive line prospect who could end up being a major steal in this range of the draft. He would not be a threat to see the field for at least one season, but Parris could easily grow into a strong contributor down the line.
