A complete seven-round 2018 NFL mock draft for the Detroit Lions after the early goings-on of free agency.

The Detroit Lions were not seriously involved in any big-named, high-priced players on the open market this offseason. Instead of spending big on a free agent or two who they probably would have seriously regretted signing down the line, the Lions aggressively attacked the middle tier of free agency to fill some obvious roster holes.

By adding guys like running back LeGarrette Blount, defensive tackle Sylvester Williams, tight end Luke Willson and linebackers Christian Jones and Devon Kennard, the Lions added impact players at positions of need without breaking the bank. Sure, none of these guys are likely to come in and dominate, but each of them provide quality, much-needed depth.

The Lions still have room to make a handful of more savvy additions in free agency if they wish, but they are likely pretty much done adding veteran players to their roster. That being said, the most important part of the offseason is still ahead, the 2018 NFL Draft.

Detroit has done a nice job in free agency, but if they are really going to improve their team, they need to find legitimate impact talent in the upcoming draft.

How do the free agent additions that the Lions made impact what they will do in the 2018 NFL Draft? What kind of talent can they land with their current draft capital? Find out in this complete seven-round 2018 NFL mock draft for the Detroit Lions.
