Draft Turay earlier in this mock would certainly help the Bears’ edge rusher situation, but I would love to see them double dip at the position in the 2018 NFL Draft. Here in the fifth round, Utah’s Kylie Fitts stands out as a strong option.

Fitts is not a freak athlete on the outside, but he shows a quick and sudden first step that allows him to gain an immediate advantage in the pass rush. Staying healthy was an issue for Fitts in college, but he was productive when on the field, showing the ability to rush from the defensive end position and as a stand-up rush linebacker. Simply put, the Bears need guys who attack the quarterback and Fitts certainly fits the bill.

Ryan Pace has done a very nice job of finding talented players at the running back position in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft. With Jordan Howard only being under contract for two more years, I could see Pace looking to work his magic again.

Justin Jackson was an extremely productive Big Ten running back who shows an extremely balanced skill set. He is a quick and decisive runner who shows impressive ball carrier vision. Jackson also shows some power at the point of attack and can catch the ball out of the backfield. With three-down upside at the next level, Jackson is a talented running back who is worth taking a chance on.

Justin Jones is a big and powerful defensive lineman who could be a strong fit as a five-technique defensive end in the Bears defense. Jones is not the quickest or most athletic defensive lineman, but he is as strong as an ox, showing the ability to consistently hold his own at the point of attack.

Jones is a strong run defender who can hold two-gap responsibilities. He is never going to be a guy who will jump off of the screen and consistently make splash plays, but Jones is incredibly reliable and would provide security up front for the Chicago Bears.
