Chicago Bears: 5 Defensive tackles to target in 2018 NFL draft
After the flurry of free agent moves, the Chicago Bears’ draft strategy certainly changed as they can focus more on defense now. One area they can add depth to is at defensive tackle.
Now that the first wave of free agency hit the NFL, Chicago Bears fans can take a breather. There is about a month before the 2018 NFL Draft, so we can get back to speculating about the team’s next moves.
With the flurry of moves the Bears made in free agency, their priorities and strategy changed. Many analysts projected the Bears to look for wide receivers early in the draft but now that isn’t such a priority anymore. Additionally, with all the moves on offense, the defense is now a priority (although offensive line depth is also a priority).

The Bears can draft someone a little earlier to push Goldman a little. At the very least, the Bears get good depth at tackle and the rotation keeps everyone fresh throughout the season.
Defensive tackle isn’t a priority to the point where they get one in the first round, but instead of perhaps looking for one in the fifth or sixth round, they can go a little earlier.
Here are some defensive tackles the Chicago Bears could target in the draft:
