An exciting plan of attack for the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft. Find out who the Broncos land in this complete seven-round 2018 NFL mock draft.

The 2017 season did not exactly go according to plan for the Denver Broncos. Primarily behind Trevor Siemian at quarterback, the Broncos limped through last season, finishing in last place in the AFC West with an ugly 5-11 record.

Despite their less than stellar season, the Broncos still have a lot of top-notch talent on the roster and should be a in a good position to turn their fortunes around quickly. Denver invested in the quarterback position in free agency, signing Case Keenum to a two-year, $36 million contract. Now, they head into the 2018 NFL Draft with an immediate answer at the quarterback position and a ton of draft capital to work with.

The Broncos hold the fifth overall pick in the upcoming draft and should have an interesting decision to make right away. With quarterbacks expected to go off the board immediately, the Broncos may not be able to find their franchise quarterback of the future.

In an ideal world, there would be a sure-fire franchise quarterback available at five who the Broncos to groom to take over Keenum when he is ready. However, that quarterback simply may not be there.

In this seven-round mock draft, we take a look at a scenario where the ideal franchise quarterback is not available at the fifth overall pick. How do the Denver Broncos attack the 2018 NFL Draft in this scenario? Let’s take a look.
