The Los Angeles Rams shook up their roster and added some major pieces but it’s not over. Here are the prospects they should target in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams just added five-time Pro Bowl and three-time All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to a defense that already has a perineal All-Pro and arguably the best defensive tackle in the NFL, Aaron Donald. This move is just the latest in a list of additions that includes Sam Shields, Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib.

There’s no question that general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay went into the offseason with one thing in mind — improving the defense. Suh was a gift from the Dolphins that long-time NFL defensive coordinator Wade Phillips appreciates a great deal.

How do we know? He told the world via Twitter:

When you finish the season as the league’s No. 1 scoring offense, the next step would be to add key pieces to the defense that finished 19th in yards allowed and 28th against the run. However, even with all those new toys for Phillips, the Rams still need to a couple guys to help defend against the run.

Additionally, they traded away 8.5 sacks in the form of Robert Quinn to the Dolphins. So, while the secondary looks much improved, along with the defensive line, the Rams still need to look to the draft to improve their linebacker corps, offensive line, and wide receiver group. Here’s how the Los Angeles Rams’ Day 1 big board should look for the 2018 NFL Draft.
