Who should the Chicago Bears be targeting with the eighth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft?

The Chicago Bears appear to be a team on the rise. General manager Ryan Pace has done a nice job of adding impact talent through the draft in recent years and has assembled a team with some nice upside going forward.

This offseason, the Bears have done an extremely nice job of building around franchise quarterback Mitch Trubisky. First, they hired former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy to be their head coach. Nagy is an extremely creative and forward-thinking coach who will consistently put Trubisky in situations to succeed. Simply put, Nagy will know how to get the most out of Trubisky.

After hiring Nagy, the Bears went to work in free agency, getting Trubisky many interesting weapons in the passing game. Signing Allen Robinson gives the Bears that number one receiver who they desperately needed, while speedster Taylor Gabriel and tight end Trey Burton will be strong complementary pass catching pieces.

As we look forward to the 2018 NFL Draft, it is going to be interesting to see who the Bears bring in. Pace has shown the ability to find value throughout the draft, but the first round pick is always the most important.

The Chicago Bears hold the eighth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, giving them an opportunity to add another legitimate impact player to the mix. Who should the Bears be targeting with their first-round selection? Let’s take a look at the top targets.
