4. Sione Teuhema, EDGE, SE Louisiana

Here is another potential Day 3 draft pick in outside linebacker Sione Teuhema, whom the Cowboys could use on their roster as a “diamond in the rough,” so to speak. While playing for SE Louisiana this past season, Teuhema totaled 80 tackles (59 solo) with 18.5 tackles for a loss. He also had nine sacks, resulting in a loss of 79 yards, plus Teuhema forced two fumbles, recovered on fumble and even had an interception.

Being 6-4 and 260 pounds, Teuhema (a Keller, TX native) had a season-high 11 tackles vs. Bethune-Cookman in the second game of the season, a game where he also had a sack and a forced fumble. Teuhema had two games of two sacks this past season and was a first-team All-American for the FCS.

Teuhema played two seasons at LSU, where as a sophomore he totaled 13 tackles and once had seven tackles against Eastern Michigan, and he also played nine games as a freshman at LSU as he was twice suspended at LSU by then-head coach Les Miles.

After parts of four seasons playing college football, where could Teuhema land in the draft in April? The Cowboys need more than just a middle linebacker after Anthony Hitchens left via free agency. There is also the fact that the Cowboys will need to build some depth at outside linebacker, and Teuhema is not only a OLB, but has played at defensive end too.

Being that Teuhema was at LSU, played in the SEC at one point in his college career and the fact that Teuhema is listed as the No. 4 defensive end from the FCS should make teams think about selecting him in the latter part of the 2018 NFL Draft.
