Dallas Cowboys: 5 Sleepers to target in 2018 NFL Draft
1. Jester Weah, WR, Pittsburgh
Another wide receiver with a projection of a fifth or sixth round is Jester Weah, a senior out of Pittsburgh who stands at 6-2. Weah has good speed at 4.43 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, with a vertical jump of 38 inches and a broad jump of 120 inches.
One of the pluses outlined by Lance Zierlein of NFL.com in his draft report on Weah is he has “strong hands, willing to make blocks downfield and he’s comfortable catching in a crowd.”
Granted, on paper Weah isn’t the top wide receiver in this draft, but being a sleeper means he still has the ability to do positives in the NFL, and there are many receivers currently in the league who have made a name for themselves after being drafted in the later rounds.
While at Pittsburgh, Weah’s career totals include 77 receptions for 1.566 yards and 14 touchdowns. Weah’s best season was a junior year in 2016 where he caught 36 passes for 870 yards and 10 touchdowns. During his senior season, Weah caught 41 passes for 698 yards and four touchdowns in 11 games.

Weah might just be a player who has solid talent but just needs NFL coaching to get to the next level. There are many more potential sleepers in this draft that will eventually rise to the top if they have the abilities to get them there.
Weah could be one of those players, and for a team that still seems to be in the market for a wide receiver, taking a closer look at the Pittsburgh senior won’t hurt matters at all.
