2018 NFL Mock Draft: 10 Big trades create mass chaos
By Dan Parzych
While all the attention surrounding the Baltimore Ravens at the moment is focused on the recent signing of Robert Griffin III, the team also deserves credit for actually coming through in a way this offseason by providing Joe Flacco with better receivers to work with in the passing game. Excitement was already high when the Ravens felt they landed one of the most underrated free agency receivers in speedster John Brown, but the unexpected signing of Michael Crabtree will go down as one of the top moves of the offseason.
Now, the question becomes whether Baltimore will live up to the hype on the offensive side of the football since it’s been the defense carrying most of the weight over the last few seasons. For a quarterback that has struggled to be considered elite at times, it’s tough for someone like Flacco to succeed without the proper weapons, and it will be interesting to see how this new receiving duo plays out.
With that being said, despite all of the potential surrounding Alex Collins heading into 2018, the Ravens could still use help by adding another weapon in the backfield. After previously meeting with Derrius Guice, Baltimore may end up being in a position where the only way to land the LSU running back is if they move up in the first round since he’s already drawing heavy interest from numerous teams.
