22. player. 16. . Quarterback. Louisville. Lamar Jackson

Thanks to some impressive wheeling and dealing last year, the Bills are fortunate enough to have two draft picks to work with in the first round of this year’s draft, which is why they didn’t mind making the previous trade with the Bengals involving Glenn to move up to No. 12. One of the beauties about having two picks in the first round is Buffalo can focus on both sides of the football, but sooner or later, the team is going to have to strongly consider a plan for a quarterback of the future.

Sure, the recent signing of AJ McCarron has the potential to be the perfect short-term solution for the Bills, but also there’s no guarantee the former Bengals quarterback will even be the right answer under center since he’s unproven. If Buffalo were smart, they would use one of their two picks in the first round on a quarterback, and Lamar Jackson could end up being the answer this team has been waiting for all these years.

Imagine a more effective quarterback than Taylor from the previous three seasons, and that’s Jackson. With his playmaking abilities through the air and on the ground, Jackson seems determined to make a similar impact, if not better, at the NFL level.
