A complete seven-round 2018 NFL mock draft for the New England Patriots.

After trading away Brandin Cooks, the New England Patriots are now loaded with draft capital in the 2018 NFL Draft. With two first-round and two second-round selections, the Patriots will have an opportunity to land many legitimate impact players to their mix early in the upcoming draft.

It will be extremely interesting to see how the Pats decide to attack this draft. On one hand, it would certainly make sense to start planning ahead for life without Tom Brady. With Jimmy Garoppolo gone, the Patriots do not have a quarterback succession plan in place. Will they look to acquire their future franchise quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft? Only time will tell.

The Patriots could certainly be looking forward to life after Brady, but if they spend a premium pick on a quarterback, that is one talented player who will help them win another Super Bowl with Brady. There is certainly an argument to be made that the Patriots should be doing everything that they can to capitalize on their current championship window.

Whether the Patriots decide to find Brady’s eventual replacement in this draft or not, it will be extremely interesting to see what they do. With a ton of prime draft capital, the New England Patriots will have an opportunity to land multiple players who can help them both in the short and long-term.

How should they use these picks? Let’s take a look with a complete seven-round 2018 NFL mock draft.
