With Dez Bryant now a free agent, the New Orleans Saints were one of the teams in talks to sign him. With no offers yet, let’s look at the good and the bad.

Cowboys and non-Cowboys fans alike were shocked when the team decided to release Dez Bryant. Bryant had been with the team for eight years and solidified their receiving corp. It was a bold move for the team, but one they imagine is going to pay off.

As for the rest of the NFL, it’s truly a field day. Despite his dip in production, Bryant is still one a top-tier receiver. He might not get back to his 2014 glory, but it’s a start. However, if placed in the right team, the probability of success is high.

A few teams have already been linked to Bryant including the Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills and of course, the New Orleans Saints. Of the three teams, only two really make sense with Bryant either ending up on the Packers or the Saints.

Not only do both teams have solid quarterbacks, but need more depth at wide receiver. Since there hasn’t been any news about Bryant, it’s time to speculate. With the Saints in the running, let’s look at the pros and cons of the Saints signing Dez Bryant.

Of all the teams mentioned, the Saints somehow make sense but also don’t at the same time. It’s time to get into why Bryant would be a good or bad fit for the Saints.
