The Jacksonville Jaguars look to add depth to the offense in this seven-round  2018 mock draft.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are drafting at an unfamiliar spot in this year’s NFL Draft. Usually Jacksonville drafts from one of the top ten places. Last season’s success pushed the Jaguars down to No. 29.

Jacksonville drafted at the 29th slot back in 2000. R. Jay Soward, wide receiver, was the selection. He played in only 13 games for his NFL career. Would Jacksonville draft another wide receiver eighteen years later?

Marcedes Lewis, recently released, was taken in the first round and 28th overall in 2006. Lewis started 157 games at tight end. Lewis was a better blocker than receiver. Would Jacksonville take a pass catching tight end?

Blake Bortles played well in leading Jacksonville into the AFC Championship Game. Bortles was selected as the third overall selection in 2014 draft. Is he good enough to win a Super Bowl or would the Jaguars draft a first round quarterback?

Historically, Jacksonville has never traded away their first round pick. Would they entertain the possibility of trading out of the first round? Is there a possible trade in the works that would give Jacksonville an additional first round pick?

Although there are no glaring weaknesses for the Jaguars, they need to address the offensive depth. Here is who they might take in the first round.
