Chicago Bears: 2018 schedule released
The Chicago Bears appear to be a team that’s building and on the rise, but will that rise happen as they power through the 2018 schedule?
There was certainly a heavy mixture of ups and downs throughout the 2017 season for the Chicago Bears. They ultimately finished well out of the playoff picture, but not without providing glimmers of hope for the future of the team under the direction of general manager Ryan Pace. And perhaps there’s even more hope with John Fox now out and Matt Nagy taking over as head coach.
Nagy has proven to be a quality offensive mind, which is what this Bears team needs. They traded up last year in the draft to select quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. The North Carolina Tar Heels product was able to make his way into the starting role midway through last season and showed flashes of things to come. Now armed with a new big weapon in Allen Robinson, bigger things could be on the horizon.
Health has been a big issue for the defense in Chicago of late, but the talent is there. Guys like Leonard Floyd are beastly when on the field, and they also have unsung studs like Eddie Jackson, among others, that can help make this unit even better.
There are still holes on this roster, no doubt, but the arrow is pointing up in the Windy City. And here’s where the arrow is pointing for the Chicago Bears 2018 schedule:

This Bears team may not be in the playoff mix as early as 2018 — though crazier things have happened. Even still, this is a team that has started to build something nice, and will continue to do so moving forward it would seem. The hope this year is that the team will provide more, well, hope for how things will play out in the future.
