The Dallas Cowboys will be looking to return to the postseason in the upcoming campaign, and we now know their road ahead with their 2018 schedule.

The Dallas Cowboys will be entering the 2018 NFL season with a look they haven’t had in quite some time. In the first round of the 2010 draft, they selected wide receiver Dez Bryant. Since that time, he has been a No. 1 option on the outside for their offense. That won’t be the case this year, however, following his release in April.

It’s clear that the Cowboys are looking towards the future now. With third-year quarterback Dak Prescott and third-year running back Ezekiel Elliott lining up behind one of the league’s premier offensive lines, this team seems ready to zoom into the future with great success. Yes, there are holes and questions throughout the roster, but this appears to be a playoff team.

Of course, they appeared to be a playoff team in the 2017 season. Coming off of a 13-3 campaign and an NFC East win the year before, they had high postseason hopes. Instead, they ended up on the outside of the playoff picture and will now look to get back to that level of play.

On Thursday night, we found out what their road through the new season will look like as the Dallas Cowboys 2018 schedule was released:

We already knew that the Cowboys would be facing the AFC South and the NFC South this season, giving them matchups against two extremely tough divisions. With that combined with playing against the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles twice in divisional play, this isn’t an easy slate for the Boys at all.

However, if they’re able to reach their potential, they should be able to travel back to the postseason in 2018.
