Rounds 6 and 7

Round 6 (193): Ricky Jeune, WR, Georgia Tech: The Dallas Cowboys still need to keep adding to their wide receiver depth, and at 193rd overall there is still a chance Ricky Jeune could be on the board as Mel Kiper Jr. has said Jeune could be a Day 3 selection. Jeune didn’t have an invite to the NFL Combine, but in his senior season at GT he played in 11 games, where he totaled 545 yards on 25 receptions and with six touchdowns. Jeune could be a steal if he falls to the sixth round.

Round 6 (208): Josh Adams, RB, Notre Dame: Not being the flashiest of players, this is a nice spot for the Cowboys to find a running back to help offset Ezekiel Elliott in a way, with Adams being a player who can get the tough yards as Lance Zierlein of NFL.com describes Adams as a player who is “built like a monster with broad shoulders and muscular lower half.” In his final season at Notre Dame, Adams rushed for 1,430 yards on 206 carries.

Round 7 (237): Ja’Von Rolland-Jones, DE, Arkansas State: Ja’Von Rolland-Jones is a work in progress, but he still can add to an NFL roster in 2018. Being graded a seventh-round selection, Rolland-Jones is still able to be a productive pass rusher at outside linebacker, and if there is a spot on the roster where the Cowboys could use a diamond in the rough, it is at outside linebacker as they continue to add to that area of the roster. Ja’Von Rolland-Jones is 6-2, 244 pounds and has good strength with 23 reps at the NFL combine in bench press and recorded a 4.88 40-yard dash. Don’t sleep on Ja’Von Rolland-Jones on Day 3 of the 2018 NFL Draft.
