The New York Jets have a lot of holes to fill, and they will have to address them in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The New York Jets were active enough in free agency to fill some needs. They added depth at wide receiver, a top-flight cornerback, and an inside linebacker after letting Demario Davis hit free agency. They also cut Muhammad Wilkerson and lost Austin Seferian-Jenkins to free agency.

So that leaves the Jets with a few holes. The obvious one is at quarterback, but they also need someone to replace Wilkerson and Seferian-Jenkins, an edge rusher, and another cornerback (given the propensity of three wide receiver sets in the NFL). Additionally, they need help on special teams returning punts and kickoffs.

On a 53-man roster, it’s crucial to have those guys. In this draft, you’re going to have to look beyond the traditional role of the position that a player is labeled with, especially if he can do a lot more.

Let’s see how it shapes up in the 2018 NFL Draft.
