The Pittsburgh Steelers can be one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL, and they’ll look to strike fear in everyone on their 2018 schedule.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have long been contenders in the AFC and have had a stranglehold on the AFC North for what seems like every year in recent memory. Given the state of their core, it’s not hard to see why that’s the case. However, their issue as of late hasn’t been getting to the playoffs — it’s been getting it done once they make it into the postseason.

With a core on offense that consists of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, running back Le’Veon Bell and wide receiver Antonio Brown, all three of whom are considered elite at their position, they can be downright unstoppable when they’re clicking. Be it because of injuries or distractions or something else though, the consistency has been lacking. And perhaps another factor has been the defense.

Once the strength of the Steelers, the defense as a whole in Pittsburgh has taken a step back in recent years. Now the unit currently in place is left in a tough spot given the horrific injury to linebacker Ryan Shazier suffered last season. They need to beef up and bolster this unit to help match the offense, but also not to put the burden entirely on the shoulders of the offense as well.

Given all of this, it should be an intriguing year for the Steelers. Here’s a look at the Pittsburgh Steelers 2018 schedule:

As always, the Steelers are a team that no team wants on their schedule. However, there may be some cracks in the armor. With the Bell contract situation, an aging quarterback and a suspect defense, could they be vulnerable this year? We shall see what happens.
