Wyatt Teller – Virginia Tech

With first-round talk building around Ragnow, it is somewhat surprising Teller is not receiving the same buzz. There has been criticism of a drop-off in both consistency and effort level in 2017, but there can be no doubting Teller’s potential.

Teller is seen as more of a fit for a power-based scheme but, ranking as the No. 8 SPARQ athlete among offensive linemen, has the athleticism to be scheme versatile.

He is extremely comfortable in space and can even execute cut blocks while on the move. In pass protection Teller has displayed a capability to combat rip, swim and club moves, rarely allowing defenders to disengage.

Able to recover when beaten to the punch by defenders, Teller is unquestionably one of the best interior pass protectors in the draft and could be a day-two steal for the 49ers if they can harness the consistency that was seemingly lacking in 2017.
