OT. Notre Dame. Mike McGlinchey. 16. player. 26.

The Baltimore Ravens have loaded up on the defensive side of the ball in recent years and it has shown on the field. They have put together an impressive defensive unit that can lead this franchise going forward. That being said, the Ravens simply have not surrounded Joe Flacco with enough talent on the offensive side of the ball to compete.

Many see wide receiver as a logical target for the Ravens in the first round, but Baltimore will always account for value as well. I simply am not a fan of this wide receiver class and taking any of them this early would be a reach. Instead of reaching for a target for Flacco, they solidify their offensive line by drafting tackle Mike McGlinchey.

McGlinchey is a fantastic athlete at the offensive tackle position who shows great pass protection upside at the next level. His ability to move up front is extremely impressive and will undoubtedly translate to the next level. McGlinchey is not the most powerful offensive lineman, but he has enough strength at the point of attack to be a viable run blocker.

McGlinchey is an ideal right tackle prospect who would come in and be an immediate starter for the Ravens up front. Adding him to the mix would take the Ravens’ offensive line to the next level, drastically improving their ability to consistently move the ball. Simply put, Mike McGlinchey is a rock-solid offensive tackle who would be an ideal fit for the Baltimore Ravens.
