Here are three offensive linemen worthy of the Jacksonville Jaguars first round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Cam Robinson in the second round of last year’s NFL Draft. Robinson played well as a rookie. The Jaguars should be set at left tackle for awhile. Since the left guard position needed upgrading, Jacksonville signed Andrew Norwell. His signing seals the left side of the offensive line. Blake Bortles will not have to worry about his blindside due to Robinson and Norwell.

Brandon Linder is a versatile player. He played right guard in his first two professional seasons. Linder moved to center in 2016. There is a possibility that the Jaguars could draft a center in the first round.

With potential needs along the offensive line, let’s dive into some prospects that the Jaguars could target in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

First, Isaiah Wynn is a good pick in the first round here. Wynn stands six feet three inches tall weighing 313 pounds. At Georgia, he played both left guard and left tackle. Wynn’s versatility will appeal to Jacksonville. The Jaguars want to have the five best linemen on the field. His height may hamper his role at tackle, but he could play center or right guard.

An NFC area scout was quoted by NFL.com describing Wynn’s draft perception:

"“He’s what you want from a tackle but he’s not even going to come in at 6’3 so that’s (stinks). He’ll be a good player for a team who wants athletic guards. You might even see a team draft him as a center since he’s stronger than a lot of the centers you will see in this draft.”"

Next, Connor Williams may be the target for the right tackle position. He stands six feet six inches tall weighing 315 pounds. Williams is the ideal size to play tackle. Current right tackle Jermey Parnell is entering his ninth season. Father time is not on Parnell’s side, either. Drafting Williams allows Jacksonville to get younger at right tackle.

Finally, Will Hernandez is a possible target. He had a phenomenal performance at the NFL Combine. Hernandez bench pressed 225 pounds 37 times and ran the 40-yard dash in 5.15 seconds.

As a result, Hernandez would be able to anchor the right guard position. Linder could stay at center and the Jaguars could select a right tackle in the second round. While many think Jacksonville should draft skill position player, the offensive line must be a top priority.
