New York Jets: Final 7-Round 2018 mock draft
Pringle did have a run-in with the law as a teenager, but by all accounts, he’s changed for the better. Unfortunately, that means he’s old for a rookie. After one year at junior college and two at Kansas State, he will be 25 years old by the time the season ends. So, he’s going to have to learn quickly.
In terms of the route tree, he’s a developmental project player. That said, he can be a deep threat, and he’s a physical receiver who can create separation. He’s explosive, will work back to the ball, and will outwork defenders in that regard.
He will use good technique to avoid defenders playing zone. He also can give the Jets a kick returner they desperately need. He’s like a running back in the kick return games, in that, he sets up the blocks in front of him and finds the lanes. Pringle’s explosiveness will help him gain extra yards that others might not.

Pingle is the type of player that cannot get a second chance. He must be on a one-strike policy. That said, he has enough talent to be a situational wide receiver while he’s learning, and has enough kick return potential to be drafted. It turns out it’s a right place, right time fit for him and the Jets.
