Oakland Raiders: Final 7-round 2018 mock draft
The Raiders have big needs on the defensive side of the ball that must be addressed. They could certainly consider a big-time prospect at linebacker or in the secondary with the 10th overall pick. However, in this mock draft, the Raiders take care of arguably the biggest need on their entire roster.

Right tackle has been a major issue for the Raiders for many years. The rest of their offensive line is rock solid, but the entire group as whole have consistently been held back by their ugly right tackle situation. Adding Mike McGlinchey to the mix would immediately solve their issues at right tackle.
McGlinchey is the best offensive tackle prospect in this draft class. He is a strong and stable pass protector who moves extremely well and has ideal technique in his pass sets. McGlinchey can handle both speed and power on the outside, using his length and athleticism extremely well.
The Notre Dame product does lack power at the point of attack, hurting his ability to be a big-time run blocker. He holds his own in the run game a majority of the time, but McGlinchey can be over-powered. However, his ability to reach the second-level in the run game is awfully impressive.
Simply put, Mike McGlinchey is a rock solid offensive tackle prospect who could come in and immediately solve the Raiders’ issues at right tackle. Adding him to the mix would round out their offensive line nicely and help take their offense to the next level.
