The Raiders taking two offensive players to kick off this mock draft, pushed their needs on the defensive side of the ball to the side. In this scenario, they undoubtedly improve on the offensive end, but their defensive issues will likely continue to be very real.

That being said, help can still be found on the third day of the draft. With their fourth round selection, the Raiders find some cornerback help in the form of Boston College’s Isaac Yiadom.

Yiadom stands 6-foot-1, 190 pounds and has extremely long arms for a cornerback prospect. He uses his size and length extremely well on the outside, consistently blanketing opposing receivers in press coverage. He is also a quick and athletic player who can handle legitimate deep speed on the outside. Simply put, Yiadom would be a strong fit at an important position of need for Oakland.

Kylie Fitts struggled with injuries throughout his college career, but when he was on the field, he always seemed to make a major impact. Fitts shows impressive athleticism and flexibility on the edge, consistently bending around the edge and creating pressure on the passer. He gets a quick first step off of the snap and knows how to beat the opposing blocker to his spot around the edge.

You can never have too many pass rushers and Fitts can undoubtedly make an impact as a situational rusher. Snagging him in the fifth round would make a lot of sense for the Oakland Raiders.
