After selecting five straight defensive prospects, the Oakland Raiders go back to the offensive side of the ball with their next pick in this draft. The Raiders lack impact talent at the tight end position, and while a sixth round selection may not change that much, Jordan Akins does represent some serious upside at the next level.

Akins does not have elite size (6-3, 249 pounds), but he is a fast tight end who can legitimately stretch the middle of the field. He attacks the ball well in the air and has an extremely consistent pair of hands. He is also a decent blocker who can make an impact in the run game at the next level.

North Carolina A&T. Brandon Parker. 6. player. 28. . OT

Taking Mike McGlinchey in the first round would solve any immediate offensive line needs for the Oakland Raiders. That being said, they do still have long-term needs at the position. In particular, finding a developmental left tackle to groom behind the aging Donald Penn would be nice.

Brandon Parker is a completely raw prospect who needs at least one year of development before ever seeing an NFL field, but his overall skill set is extremely intriguing. Parker is an extremely athletic offensive tackle who sets up in pass coverage extremely quickly. He shows the ability to handle speed on the edge and power in certain situations.

His technique is sloppy and footwork is inefficient, but Parker is a talented offensive lineman who could grow into a legitimate starter at the important left tackle position.
