28. . RB. Jacksonville State. Roc Thomas. 6. player

Jon Gruden is going with the veteran approach to fill running back in the immediate future. That being said, it would be nice to see them take a shot on some long-term upside in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Roc Thomas is a former Auburn player who ended up spending a majority of his college career at Jacksonville State. He is a naturally quick and elusive runner who has a lot of natural shake in his game. He is an incredibly difficult player to bring down in open space and has a surprising amount of power at the point of attack.

Thomas is also a smart ball carrier who shows impressive vision and patience as a runner. On top of that, he is a fantastic receiver out of the backfield who can be a real weapon at the next level. If Thomas can hold his own as a pass protector, he has some serious long-term upside at the next level.

With their 11th and final pick of this mock draft, the Oakland Raiders take another shot on some athletic upside at the linebacker position. Oren Burks is an agile linebacker who shows impressive movement skills. He is a legitimate sideline-to-sideline defender who can make an impact both against the run and in pass coverage. Burks also showcases some upside as a pass rusher in the blitz game.

Similar to Christian Sam earlier, Burks is an athletic linebacker who has some nice long-term upside. The Raiders need linebacker depth and Burks can help in that department. He has plenty of special teams value as well.
