5. Reroute your party to the Browns

This is only in dire situations. If you’re having a great draft party, don’t reroute to the Cleveland Browns unless there are Browns fans there. If you’re not having a great draft party, this last tip is for you.

Maybe you’ve run out of ideas for your draft party. Everything is seemingly going bad because your cable went out, you ran out of food or no one will go get more beer. No fear because the Cleveland Browns are here. If your party is falling apart, make a joke about the Browns and their continued dumpster fire. Not only will it distract from your party and hopefully, get people laughing.

Of all the NFL teams, the Browns are an easy target. You can joke about how many picks they have, all the trades they made and the poor decisions of Hue Jackson. There is an endless amount of material to work with. Maybe you’re all Browns fans and that’s cool so change the subject to a different team such as the Cowboys, Ravens or Steelers.

No draft party is complete without making fun of teams you hate or teams you like. Overall, the success of your draft party depends on how much effort you put in. As long as you have good friends, good food and a lot of fun, there’s nothing to worry about.
