The 2018 NFL Draft is finally here, but we have one more NFL Mock Draft to get in before the madness goes down in Dallas on Thursday.

At long last, it’s the day of the 2018 NFL Draft — the first round to be specific. We’ve been diving through film, churning out one NFL Mock Draft after another, trying to figure out what’s going to happen in this draft and so on. And here we are, on the day of Round 1, and it would suffice to say that no one has a clue what’s going to happen in this draft.

Remember last year when it came to Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns with the No. 1 overall pick? Midway through the college football season, he was pegged as the top overall selection and, despite some smokescreens, that never really changed. He was the guy, it was obvious and nothing changed.

That’s not the case this year, which figures given the quarterbacks in this class. When you have guys like Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen, all bets are suddenly off. We’ve already seen one team (the New York Jets) trade into the top-three to get one of those guys, and they likely won’t be the only team trading up once the NFL Draft begins.

But we still don’t even know where this is all going to start with the Browns at No. 1. Three of those four mentioned quarterbacks appear to still be in play — and don’t count out Saquon Barkley just yet. That could throw everything in the first round off.

So here we are, trying to predict and project the unpredictable. It’s the final 2018 NFL Mock Draft of the year, looking at the first round with plenty of trades and calamity involved. The Browns are on the clock.

(Note: Trades are loosely based on trade value charts, but the value of second- and third-round picks in this class alter that a bit in my opinion, so this reflects that.)
