The Philadelphia Eagles need to draft former West Virginia Mountaineer safety, Kyzir White on Day 3 of the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Philadelphia Eagles have only taken one player so far in the 2018 NFL Draft, tight end Dallas Goedert with the 49th overall pick. They decided to trade back from pick 32 in the first round and pick up a 2019 second round pick from the Baltimore Ravens. However, on Day 3 of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Eagles have four picks. They have two fourth-round picks, picks 125 and 130, one pick in the sixth round, pick 206, and one pick in the seventh round, pick 250.

It will be interesting to see what the Eagles do with the two fourth-round picks, but one thing is certain: the player they need to target and draft in the fourth round is former West Virginia Safety Kyzir White. Philadelphia will likely need to trade up in the fourth round to get him, but they should do whatever they need to do to get him.

White is one of the most underrated players in the entire NFL Draft because he has been labeled as a player who is not the best athlete. I find that ironic because if you turn on the field, he makes some of the most athletic plays I have ever seen. White flew around the ball and was the captain at WVU.

He may not have the fastest 40, but he gives 100 percent effort every single play. He is the exact kind of player the Eagles need on their defense. He is listed as a safety, but I see him more as a “Moneybacker” or the overused “hybrid-type” player. You can move him all over the field because he can do it all. He can cover the tight end. He can play free safety. And boy, can he blitz…

I did not expect him to still be here in the fourth round, but if the Eagles want to add a difference maker to their defense in the fourth round, they need to go up and get him. White is the brother of former first-round pick Kevin White and current 2018 NFL Draft prospect, wide receiver Ka’Raun White. All of the White brothers played at WVU, and all of them will be drafted by the end of the day. However, Kyzir is the youngest and in my opinion, will have the best NFL career.

White is one of my draft crushes, mainly because of the way he plays the game, which is the right way. It is rare to see a player give his all every single play, but White does. Every tackle White makes, he actually makes! White loves contact, and he embraces it. He reminds me of an old-school type safety, but he also is a new school type of guy. He is the perfect fit for the Eagles.

If my words can’t sell you, watch his highlights here:

You’re welcome. Now go get him, Roseman! White needs to be the top priority on Day 3 of the 2018 NFL Draft.
