The New York Jets have finally gotten their franchise quarterback. How does it affect their future moving forward, though?

Sam Darnold fell into the laps of the New York Jets with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft — and even the New York Jets couldn’t screw that one up.

What about the rest of the draft class? When should Darnold start. Michael Pallas will address this question and analyze the New York Jets season and where they can go in 2018 in the JetUp Bleeding Green podcast.

Here’s a look at what will be overviewed in the newest episode.

1. Sam Darnold goes No. 3 overall

  • Should he start?
  • How is this reminiscent of other teams starting the future franchise quarterback, namely comparisons to David Carr and Andrew Luck?

2. Who are the other big draft picks?

  • How did the Jets do on their non-quarterback selections?
  • How did Mike Maccagnan do in the undrafted free agency period?
  • Will anyone besides Sam Darnold from this draft class end up starting for the Jets in 2018?
    If so, whom?
