As the Los Angeles Chargers prepare for OTAs, NFL Spin Zone opens up a brand new forum to let fans discuss and debate what will be an exciting 2018 season.

I’m happy to announce the addition of the NFL Spin Zone Saturday Mailbag, a weekly installment where I respond to all of your questions, topic suggestions, and thoughts on the Los Angeles Chargers.

It functions similar to any mailbag you’re familiar with, with one important difference: I’m not paid by the team. Therefore, I can be as critical, honest, and open as needed, and give you the best possible responses to your submissions.

How can you send one in? Here are three acceptable ways:

  1. Post in the comments section
  2. On Twitter to @tjscooter30
  3. By email (for longer submissions or multiple questions) at lacbag18@gmail.com

What you choose to send in is entirely up to you; this mailbag is essentially created and run by the viewers and readers. Topics may range from the general to specific, and may include but are not limited to ideas such as:

  • Free agency
  • Player injuries
  • Roster predictions
  • Future draft/Post-draft analysis
  • Power rankings (players, schedule, position groups, etc.)
  • Preseason games
  • NFL regular season games
  • Postseason (we hope)
  • Los Angeles/StubHub Center

I try to edit your question to fix any spelling errors, but what is sent in is generally what you see on the article. Here is an example:

Question 1: Although Melvin Gordon is a quality RB, it seems teams are at their best with two solid, pounding backs. Who would reasonably be available to us in the middle to late rounds of the draft? -Jerry

From there, I will try my best to answer your question to the best of my abilities. A clearer question yields a more concise response. More than one submission is welcome, although I will consolidate multiple repeat topics into a single piece if necessary.

Having worked a mailbag before, I can truly say that I have enjoyed interacting with passionate readers, who in turn debate and discuss among themselves. I look forward to receiving all of your submissions.
