After adding nine players via draft and a couple more through trades, we look at how the Dallas Cowboys 53 man roster could round out for the 2018 NFL Season

The Dallas Cowboys had a pretty successful draft on most accounts. They landed the guy they were after in the first-round with Leighton Vander Esch. No matter your feelings on that move, the positive spin is they trusted their board and went for their guys without being cute. That’s a positive sign from them.

It wasn’t that move however that made them look smart in many draft expert’s eyes. Instead, it was what they did in the rounds that followed.

In the second, they hit a home run by again staying put and selecting Texas offensive lineman Connor Williams. They were reportedly kicking his name around as well as a defensive player and a wide out — Michael Gallup.

As fate would have it, Gallup was sitting there when Dallas was back on the clock for their third-round pick. The hits kept coming as they were also praised for landing defensive end Dorrance Armstrong from Kansas, quarterback Mike White from Western Kentucky and even running back Bo Scarborough from Alabama.

With all these new faces, Dallas will have to make some unpopular choices before the season begins. Here we will take a guess at how their 53-man roster will look when training camp is over and the 2018 NFL Season is underway.
