It has been a busy few months for all 32 teams. With the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Draft, what five acquisitions stand out for the Chicago Bears?

Yes, the Chicago Bears have finished in the NFC North basement each of the past four seasons. And yes, this club is under the command of yet another new head coach in former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy. And finally, this was a club that won just five games a year ago, including only one in the conference.

Still, this could be one of the surprise clubs in the league this fall given what always-aggressive general manager Ryan Pace did this offseason. The Bears made some strides a year ago when it came to their defense and we’re fortunate enough to retain coordinator Vic Fangio — this after the club parted ways with head coach John Fox after three seasons.

As for Nagy, he brings his system to the Windy City and hopes to have a big impact on second-year quarterback Mitch Trubisky and the NFL’s 30th-ranked offense of a season ago.

But it won’t be easy moving up in the division and against three teams — the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers — the Bears failed to defeat at least once in 2017. All told, there are a lot of new faces on this roster…again. So what are the team’s top five additions now that the 2018 draft is in the rear view mirror?
