It has been a busy few months for all 32 teams. With the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Draft, what five acquisitions stand out for the Miami Dolphins?

In 2016, the Miami Dolphins shook off a miserable start, won nine of their final 11 games and reached the playoffs for the first time since 2008. This past season, the club opened with four wins in their first six contests and proceeded to drop eight of their final 10 outings to finish 6-10. It added up to a third-place finish in the AFC East for a club that closed the season with three consecutive losses.

So what direction is this team really headed in? It was an offseason of housecleaning for the organization. The club parted ways with notable veterans such defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, center Mike Pouncey, linebacker Lawrence Timmons and tight end Julius Thomas. Head coach Adam Gase also welcomes back quarterback Ryan Tannehill after a long absence which included missing all of the 2017 season.

All told, it was once again another busy offseason for a team that has made only one playoff appearance over the past nine seasons. And the Dolphins are seeking their first AFC East title since 2008 — which marks the last time some club other than the New England Patriots captured the top spot in the division. So in regards to the ‘Fins, what are the club’s best five additions to date?
