Tyler Lockett

The obvious choice to step up at receiver for the Seahawks is Tyler Lockett. The fourth-year man out of Kansas State had his ups and downs in the league. Lockett has had some bad injury luck in his time in Seattle. When it seems like he is putting it all together, he finds himself on the bench with an injury.

Lockett will be asked to man one of the outside receiver positions in Seattle’s offense. He is an explosive player who can step in immediately and fill the void that was left by Paul Richardson.

Last year, Lockett had his least productive season averaging 12.3 yards per reception, which shows the explosiveness that Lockett possess. Lockett is an absolute burner, who can stretch the defense and give the Seahawks a downfield weapon that they lost in Richardson. Despite being undersized for a receiver, he has shown a knack for scoring. Lockett had six receiving touchdowns in his rookie season.

The opportunity to make an impact on offense will be there for Lockett. The departure of Richardson and Graham opened up plenty of targets for Lockett to soak up. Consistency and health are the two keys for Lockett, and if he can fix those two issues, he can be a breakthrough performer for the Seahawks.
