It’s been a busy few months for all 32 teams. With the 2018 NFL Draft in the rear view mirror, what five acquisitions stand out for the Indianapolis Colts?

It has been a rough few years for the Indianapolis Colts. Three consecutive 11-5 finishes as well as playoff appearances have been followed by a combined 20-28 mark since 2015. The absence of quarterback Andrew Luck for 26 games over that span certainly hasn’t helped.

But it’s a new offseason and hopes always spring eternal. Luck is expected to be healthy and that’s great news for new head coach Frank Reich, who succeeds Chuck Pagano. General manager Chris Ballard enters his second season on the job. All told, this is a club coming off a 4-12 showing and finds itself chasing both the AFC South champion Jacksonville Jaguars and 2017 playoff-bound Tennessee Titans.

While Ballard and the franchise were pretty quiet during free agency, that all changed in the early stages of the draft. The team wound up with the sixth overall pick and would choose four more players in the second round. All told, the Colts wound up with five of the first 64 overall selections. So did any of those picks make this list? And who exactly are the team’s top five additions these last few months?
