The Atlanta Falcons have a plethora of important games on their 2018 NFL Regular Season schedule, but none are bigger than these three match-ups.

The Atlanta Falcons will be looking to reach the NFC Playoffs for the third-straight season under Dan Quinn in 2018. Now that the NFL Draft is over and offseason programs are slowly starting to begin, we can start looking ahead towards the upcoming season with some excitement. Needless to say, September can’t come soon enough.

While most fanbases use the offseason to find reasons why their squad has a chance of competing for a title, Falcons nation actually has some legitimate hopes. With their young defense finding more talent in the NFL Draft and most of the team’s offense coming back for the 2018 season, the Dirty Birds have an opportunity to make some serious noise.

If that doesn’t get you excited, Dirty Birds fans, I don’t know what will.

However, before the Falcons ever have a chance to win their first Lombardi Trophy in 2018, they’ll have to navigate through a fairly tough regular season schedule. With six games against fellow NFC south foes, four games against the AFC North, four games against the NFC East, and two more against Arizona and Green Bay, Atlanta will have their fair-share of challenges before the NFC Playoffs.

With 16 weekends of Falcons football, there are three that, I believe, are going to be critical to the team’s season.

Without further ado, take a look at those three critically important games in the following pages.
